doodles 6 reworking Elderia

i decided that my original concept for Eldéria was poorly worked, i needed a base, so its time to go back to eldéria at its great war period, a... way more honorable and successfull period for the nation, the monarchy of Eldéria rulled by king Carlos Giormando Oliveira II was a rich and prosperous small nation situated at the northern pennynsula of the Salbargo region (the island where Navasa and Eldéria are located), the nation's economy was centered around wine and luxury items like marble and other tipes of decorative rocks, its army while small and lacking its strenght in vehicles was well motivated and had a long history with discipline and tradition, its infantry was admirable and was one of the pionners in the art of paratrooping in the battlefield, a tactic vastly used in its campaigns on northern Navasa.

1800 - As there was no war for the country to worry about, it only had to take care of its small colonies and its internal security, for this period i decided to show a Guarda Municipal (municipal guard) a small branch of the military whose main activities were related to urban security and military law accomplishment, working also as military police, lightly armed, nicelly dressed, composed mainly by untrained and locally recruited male soldiers from 17 to 24 years old, it was one of the most common sights of military activity in the country before the war.

1805 - As the great war ragged on, Eldéria decided to stick along with the Trattoritse du Vargantirre (the alliance of Eldéria,Kingdom of Ronertan, Drothnye, Bythinia and Alezio) and got tasked of taking the control of the western seas territory and the Benasquean colonies at northern Bardul, these being Triva and Tersonnes Colonial, its main advances were made by sea and the initial assaults on Triva by the Navy Infantry Corp (Corpo Terrestre de la Armada ''CTA'') and later accompanied by army infantry and light armored cavalry, the soldier representing the period is a private for the 7º Regimento de Rifles de la Armada ''7th regiment of navy rifles'', he is using the standart issue Eldérian rifle Mabel-model 02 chambered ub 5x37mm, with its side-plug bayonet, many of these soldiers were lightly equiped and lightly dressed to handle the hot temperatures of northern Bardul.

1816 - As the great war was reaching its end, Eldéria was the first nation to fall, as the attempt of invasion in Navasa and Bardul's colonies failed, 35% of its ground forces were still in Triva as there was no Navy to get them back to their home-soil, and in the nation itself there was only locally trained divisions and what once were the 5 Paratrooper Battalions that composed the 1º Corpo de Operaciones Especiales ''1st Special Operations Corps'', the soldier i choose to represent such period is a Sargeant of the 2º Division de Para-Tropas  ''2nd paratrooper division'' and its well equipped with a Damiano Modello 12 chambered in 8x22mm, a web-gear, something new for the period and winter clothes, this same sargeant participated in the defense of the capital and probably died there as over 2000 Navasan Paratroopers sieged the city (the irony) in the same week as this battle occured, king Carlos got hangged by navasan forces, thus ending Eldéria's participation in the Great War, most of its southern territories became part of Navasa, and Eldéria would fall in a pit of failure as Carlos's son: Giorgio Giormando Oliveira assumed his place as the absolute ruller of Eldéria and leading the nation into 20 years of decadense and famine, but that... is a story for another doodle.
